A few days ago I visited this luxury resort which is just a 2 hrs drive from MUMBAI. This little secret is tucked away in Wada – Maharastra. It’s 150 acres of sheer bliss, peace & tranquility.

Upon my arrival at the Anchaviyo resort I was warmly welcomed by the staff of the resort. The staff in a cute e-ricksaw dropped us to our room – The Tree House. The accommodation was soo rustic and well designed. We basically lived in a glass tree house, it was amazing. The view from my room was serene. They have different accommodation options that you can book like the Igloo, mud house, tents etc. Well I wasn’t alone on the weekend, lolzzz. I had my bitter half, my buddy, my partner-in-crime with me. We treated ourselves to some yummy indian food.

Since I had my hubby with me, in the evening we treated ourselves to their GAZEBO DINING Experience. It’s for all you mushy mushy people. Ok, I am girl yaaa I enjoyed the lovey dovey experience with flowers and balloons… OMG I loved it. We had indulged ourselves with indian food late in the afternoon so we could not eat much. You know what by midnight we were hungry again, hahahaha. But lucky us Anchaviyo resort serves midnight snacks, yaaay. We ordered ourselves sabki favourite Maggi, chutney sandwich & yummy Chocolate shake. Their service is very prompt even at midnight.

Waking up to a view of the river and the scenic view, is a distant dream for us living in Mumbai. All we see are tall urban development in our city. I felt blessed. They serve local breakfast at their multi cuisine restaurant every morning. It’s a buffet they keep a great variety. I must for a resort not in the city they do have a great chef. We enjoyed all the cuisines they serve at different times.

There are many activities one can do throughout the day like cycling, segway rides, atv rides, indoor and outdoor games. They also have a mini theatre. A weekend getaway is never complete without a relaxing SPA session. So we treated ourselves to a nice 90 mins long aroma therapy massage. They have some amazing therapist we were well taken care of.

After a long nap which is a must after a spa we dived straight into their infinity pool overlooking the scenic view. They play some cool music at the pool its super fun.

Anchaviyo resort was a welcome change for the weekend. And you know the best part of the stay was, there were no television in the rooms. With the crazy lives we live I think this is a good detox too.

And yaaay I got all the time to trouble my always number crunching hubby. Amazing weekend looking forward to visit Anchaviyo Resort soon.
